biel.ski

Purpose

biel.ski is both:

• a simple site, akin to Linktree AND
• an URL shortener like Bit.ly
  • e.g. “ https://biel.ski/sail (”https://biel.ski/sail”)
• I will add more of these links

Refresh original design

Basically, I want to refresh the design of the original card:

• Just one side (for now)
• change color scheme
  • reverse the color scheme with a light background, so that I can write in pen
  • Red & white (?)
    • Too many of my cards are blue, so I’d like to change things up
• Bigger, bolder typeface: cover most of card
• emphasize that biel.ski is also a website (not just email)

I need to be able to write on it as I showed in the picture and my mock-ups, in the “pathname” part right after the ‘/‘ that follows the TLD (top level domain), “.ski” in this case, so I can refer people to particular websites.

If I write after the "/':

• 'bio', my URL shortener will forward to my bio

• 'Sail' my URL shortener will forward to my https://sail-lore.com/ site

• 'FARM' my URL shortener will forward to my Farm.fyi site

• 'Obit' my URL shortener will forward to my  site

  https://obitdiy.com/

etc. So i don't have to put (and update) all these URLs on the back of my cards like the ones from 5 years ago.
