Stefan’s broad and deep exposure to start-ups includes covering entrepreneurship as a business journalist, serving and fighting for entrepreneurs within the big business-dominated Chamber of Commerce as its Small Business committee co-chair, and as a business coach focused on SMEs. His Entrepreneur in Residencies include at Georgetown University and aboard Coboat, the coworking catamaran in the Mediterranean. In addition, he’s long been in the trenches. At age 18, he joined a startup as its first full-time employee through its acquisition while balancing night school at Johns Hopkins for two years. Stefan later earned a BA in History from The College of Wooster and a MBA from Duxx Graduate School of Business Leadership in Monterrey, Mexico. Stefan has founded companies on four continents—and he knows how to build them to last: one he sold is now over 25 years old in the heavily-disrupted print magazine publishing industry.
