Intro

This is a very crude attempt to show how my mind works: how it connects and fits things together…

This fills an intermediate role between my personal writings and those that I publish, usually on one of my websites.

WHAT:

Nomenclature:

Sometimes I fancy my Syndex as a sort of proto-exocortex, or at least on the way there.

Name:

I coined Syndex. While it’s used as a company name for consulting, software, The Federal Communications Commission has a “syndication exclusivity”, I’m the first (to my knowledge) to use the word in this way.

Etymology:

The prefix "syn-", meaning "together", “in company with” derives from Ancient Greek from σύν (sún,)  e.g. “synapse” or “synthesize”. Cognate of Sanskrit सम्- (sam-).

The "dex" in "syndex" is derived from the Greek "δείκνυναι" (deiknynai), meaning "to show" or "to point out,". Think “index” (as in book or finger) Combined, the term "syndex” is my neologism (meologism) for …

From Ancient Greek συν- (sun-), from σύν (sún, “with, in company with, together with”).

This includes my ideas, (potential) projects, bio/memoir…
